    FAQ

    Google Search Preview: questions

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp. We usually reply within 2 working hours.

How long should a page title be?

About 50 to 60 characters. Google cuts titles by pixel width, roughly 600 pixels on desktop, so wide letters use up space faster. The preview shows exactly where it gets cut.

How long should a meta description be?

About 120 to 158 characters. Longer descriptions are usually cut off with three dots, especially on mobile.

Does the meta description affect rankings?

Not directly. But a clear, relevant description gets more clicks, and more clicks from the same ranking means more visitors and enquiries.

Should every page have a different title?

Yes. Each page should have its own title and description that match what is on that page. Duplicate titles confuse Google and searchers.
