Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we keep it safe and the choices you have. We have written it in plain English and in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are
Groww Businezz ("we", "us", "our") is a web design and development company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. This means we decide why and how it is used. You are the Data Principal, the person the data is about.

2. What we collect
Details you give us. When you contact us or work with us, we may collect:
- your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and business name
- the service, plan and budget you choose, and anything you write in your message
- project material you share, such as text, logos, photos and logins for your domain, hosting or other accounts
- billing details, such as your billing name and address, GSTIN if you give one, and payment references
Details collected automatically. Like almost every website, our hosting provider's servers keep basic logs of each visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. These logs are used to keep the website secure and working.
Analytics and advertising data. See section 5.
We do not ask for sensitive details such as health or financial records. We will never ask for your card number, UPI PIN or OTP.
3. When you contact us on WhatsApp, by email or through our form
- Enquiry form. The form on our Contact page does not store your details on our website or servers. When you press send, it opens WhatsApp, or your email app, with your message filled in. Your details reach us only when you send that message yourself.
- WhatsApp. Messages you send to our business WhatsApp number are carried by WhatsApp, a Meta company, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We keep the chat so we can follow up on your enquiry and project.
- Email. Emails you send to contact@growwbusinezz.com are stored in our business mailbox, which is run by our email provider.
- Phone calls. We may note down what we discuss on a call so we can prepare your quote. We do not record calls.
We use these details only to reply to you, prepare your quote and, if you go ahead, deliver your project. We do not add you to any marketing list unless you agree to it.
4. Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote. You gave us these details for this purpose, which the DPDP Act allows as a legitimate use.
- To deliver your project and support you, including sharing progress, handing over files and logins, and sending invoices. This is based on your consent and our agreement with you.
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping tax, GST and accounting records, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
- To keep our website secure and find and fix problems.
- To understand how our website and ads perform, only with your consent (see section 5).
- To send you offers and updates on WhatsApp or email, only if you have said yes. You can stop them at any time by replying "STOP" or by telling us.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Today. Our website does not set any analytics or advertising cookies. It saves one small setting in your browser to remember if you closed the announcement bar at the top of the page. This setting has no personal data in it. Our fonts and icons are served from our own server, so opening a page does not send your details to font or icon services.
Tools we may add. To learn which pages help visitors and how well our ads work, we may add these tools to the website:
- Google Analytics (by Google), to count visits and see which pages are used
- Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing (by Google), to measure enquiries from our Google ads and show our ads to people who have visited our website
- Meta Pixel (by Meta), to do the same for our Facebook and Instagram ads
These tools use cookies or similar identifiers. They receive your IP address, device and browser details and the pages you visit, and the companies behind them process this data under their own policies, often outside India. Before we switch any of them on, we will ask for your consent through a notice on the website, list the tool here and update the date at the top of this page. You can change your choice at any time.
You can also control these tools yourself through your browser's cookie settings, Google My Ad Center, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and Meta ad preferences.
6. Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only when we need to, and only as much as is needed:
- Service providers who work for us, such as our website host (Hostinger), our email provider, WhatsApp, our bank and payment gateway (for example Razorpay), and the tools we use to store and build project files. They may use your data only to provide their service to us. When you pay online, your card or UPI details are handled by the payment gateway, and we never see or store them.
- Platforms we set up for you, such as domain registrars, hosting, Shopify, Google Business Profile, app stores or ad accounts. We share your details with them, in your name, only to create or manage the accounts you have asked for.
- Professional advisers, such as our chartered accountant, for tax and accounting.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to.
7. Data stored outside India
Some of the providers above, such as Google, Meta and cloud tools, may store or process data on servers outside India. The DPDP Act allows this, except to countries the Government of India has restricted. We choose providers that commit to strong security.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become a project: deleted within 12 months of our last conversation, or sooner if you ask.
- Client and project records, quotes and invoices: kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require, then deleted.
- Logins you share for a project: deleted from our records after handover. We recommend that you change those passwords once the project is complete.
- Server logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security.
- Your marketing consent: kept until you withdraw it.
9. How we protect it
We take reasonable security safeguards, as the DPDP Act requires. These include HTTPS on our whole website, two-step login on our business accounts where available, and access limited to the people working on your project. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we work to protect yours. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- get a summary of the personal data we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with
- correct, complete or update your data
- have your data erased, unless the law requires us to keep it
- withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew, but we may not be able to continue a service that depends on it.
- raise a grievance with us and get a response
- nominate a person to use these rights for you if you die or are unable to
To use any of these rights, email contact@growwbusinezz.com with "Privacy request" in the subject, or message us on WhatsApp. Please write from the email or number you used with us, so we can check it is you. We confirm your request within 2 working days and complete it within 30 days.

We reply within 2 working days and aim to resolve every complaint within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
12. Websites and apps we build for clients
When we build, host or maintain a website or app for a client, we may handle data about that client's own visitors and customers, such as form entries or orders. For that data, our client is the Data Fiduciary and we act as their Data Processor. We use it only to provide our services, on our client's instructions, and never for our own purposes. If your question is about data you gave to one of our clients' websites, please contact that business.
13. Children
Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, a "child" under the DPDP Act, without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. If you think a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Links to other websites
Our website links to other websites, such as our clients' websites and our social media pages. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add a new tool or the law changes. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also show a notice on the website.
